LucidCloud Advisors was founded in 2009 and is known for its leading startup advisory services for venture-scale software startups from pre-Seed to Series A. We’ve advised and invested in a number of well-known startups that are doing great things in their respective fields. When it comes to investing, there’s no such thing as approaching us too early. In fact, the earlier we come on board, the better.

SHAWN KUNG
Founding Partner
Shawn is a successful early-stage Angel & Advisor, Stanford entrepreneurship lecturer, former EIR, and Venture Partner (AV8 Ventures). He invested in Facebook, Zuora, Tenable, Cohesity, and many rapid growth venture scale software startups.

He founded GIT1K, an end-user angel syndicate for IT, Eng, Data, and Cyber leaders, as well as Founders Club, a 5000+ member startup community. Prior operational exits include Aster Data Systems (stealth/pre-seed to $300M exit) and Tenable Security (Series B to $3B IPO).

Shawn has an MS Management Science & Engineering from Stanford, a BA from Princeton, a certificate from Harvard Business School, and has lived in Silicon Valley for 20+ years.
